Arjun Batra migrated to Canada from India and graduated in Mechanical Engineering Technology – Automotive Manufacturing. Initially, he was shy and apprehensive about his command over the English language. Still, Georgian employees provided him with the support that helped him push forward. As time went by, he gained confidence, became involved in campus activities, and is currently president of the Alumni Association. His efforts earned him the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2022, demonstrating how Georgian alums contribute and encourage future generations.

More than 90 percent of graduates secure employment within six months of graduating from their program, a better rate than the provincial average.
