Located in the city of Belleville on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario, Loyalist College is one of Canada’s most dynamic and diverse public-funded post-secondary education centres, providing a comprehensive range of career oriented, English-language programs and a superb learning experience.
Established in 1967, the college is an applied arts and technology institution with an educational heritage of over fifty years. It fosters students a very high standard of teaching, supported by excellent academic and recreational facilities and an impressive range of student support services. Loyalist College offers a variety of accredited post-secondary courses at different levels of study and is home to around 3,000 full-time students annually.
The college’s 200-acre campus is a wonderfully landscaped site, with modern buildings and plenty of green space throughout.
Loyalist College has deep roots in the local and regional economy, generating around 6,000 jobs within the region and adding over 1,000 new graduates to the workforce each year, many of whom decide to work and live locally after completing their course. The college has a global outlook and remains connected to both academic and professional communities nationally and internationally.
