The University of Saskatchewan (uSask) is one of Canada?s most historic and distinguished universities with an established legacy of excellence in research and education. Established in 1907, the university has been breaking new ground in research since its earliest days, leading innovation in medical technology, agriculture and scientific endeavor. In the modern age, it is known for its collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches to tackling some of the greatest global challenges of its era, water and food security, energy sustainability, and infectious disease. USask is composed of 17 colleges and schools, as well as a number of federated and affiliated colleges. It offers over 80 distinct programs in over 130 fields of study.
